A free, private, consent-based credential that helps service members, veterans, and retirees keep important military records, establish verified service claims, and share proof on their terms.
What stays in my Vault?+
You choose which source documents to keep. A document selected for your Identity Vault stays available until you remove it; temporary verification evidence follows JointProof's retention policy.
Can I prove service without sharing my DD-214?+
Yes. A verified-claim share provides the approved service facts an organization needs without automatically including your DD-214, Social Security number, date of birth, home address, or other stored files.
What if an organization requires the original document?+
You can separately authorize a time-limited share of the original file. Access is logged, and you can revoke the share.
Is it a government-issued ID?+
No. It is a private military-service credential operated by JointProof Technologies LLC and is not a government endorsement or government-issued identification.
Are personalized benefits available now?+
Personalized discovery is part of the growing Passport roadmap. Experiences that are not live are labeled clearly as early access, preview, or coming soon.

What does the Passport verify?+
JointProof reviews supporting evidence and issues the service claims that evidence supports. Each credential identifies its issuer, source, and verification level.
Why not request the DD-214 every time?+
The full record often contains more information than a decision requires. Verified claims make the source document the exception instead of the default.
Can a veteran revoke our access?+
Yes. Passport shares are consent-based, time-limited, and revocable. The activity record shows when verification or document access occurs.
Does it prevent all fraud?+
No system can promise that. The Passport is designed to reduce risk through evidence review, identity binding, source transparency, consent, and a consistent decision record.
Will every organization accept it?+
Not at launch. Acceptance grows as employers, schools, lenders, veteran organizations, and agencies join the network.
